Job Summary

As a Senior Telecommunications Specialist at Omega Solutions Inc, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, scheduling, and coordination of resources and activities for the installation and configuration of VoIP phone systems across various offices in South Carolina. This includes working with vendors and agency representatives to ensure successful implementations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute the installation and configuration of VoIP phone systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with vendors and agency representatives to coordinate resources and activities, ensuring timely and successful implementations.
  • Perform pre and post-site visits to determine scope, technical needs, issues, risks, and resource requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective troubleshooting and debugging strategies for VoIP systems.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices for VoIP technology.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience in telecommunications, with a focus on VoIP systems.
  • Proven track record of successful VoIP implementations, with a strong understanding of SIP, H.323, RTP, and MGCP protocols.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex VoIP issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with vendors and agency representatives.
  • Proficiency in IP routing, LAN, and WAN configurations, with a strong understanding of VoIP industry standards.
