Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled LPN to join our team as a Medical Office Primary Care Provider. In this role, you will assist physicians and physician assistants in providing primary medical care to patients.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for medical exams by gathering necessary materials and supplies.
  • Obtain patients' medical histories and vital signs, including temperature, height, and weight.
  • Provide direct patient care, such as vaccinations, medications, and wound care.
  • Collect and analyze patient specimens as directed by physicians or physician assistants.
  • Instruct patients and families on preventive care, medication management, and test preparation.
  • Communicate with patients via phone to provide follow-up care and relay physician instructions.
  • Perform organizational responsibilities to achieve practice and WCMG missions.
  • Meet meaningful use requirements and fulfill compliance responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of starting.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse licensure.
  • Basic medical knowledge and terminology.
  • Computer skills and data entry.
  • Skilled in obtaining accurate patient vitals.

Preferred Qualifications: One year of experience, proficiency in multiple languages, phlebotomy, and EKG.

Education: High school graduate or equivalent, graduate of an accredited LPN program.

Work Schedule: Day 8

Work Shift: 8am-5:30pm

Salary Range: $ Hourly

Working Conditions: Medium to Heavy effort, may exert up to 35 lbs. force, generally pleasant working conditions.
