Job Summary

Tanner Health System is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the day-to-day operations of our medical practice.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals with patient care and clinical procedures
  • Conduct patient assessments, develop care plans, and implement interventions as directed by physicians
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and medical charts
  • Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
  • Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure seamless patient care

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; certification as a Medical Assistant (AAMA, AMT, NCCT, or NHA) preferred
  • 6 months of experience in a medical setting; prior experience with x-rays and EKG preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information

Work Environment

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development.
