Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Holiday Companies. As a Store Team Member, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide prompt and courteous customer service to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Ring up sales on the cash register accurately and efficiently, handling cash, checks, and other forms of payment.
  • Perform multi-function operations of fuel consoles, lottery machines, and other equipment as needed.
  • Maintain store cleanliness and organization, including the fueling area and surrounding grounds.
  • Inspect store facilities and equipment for safety and proper working order, reporting any issues to management.
  • Assist with receiving and verifying vendor deliveries, as well as controlling merchandise and cash shortages.
  • Participate in shift audits and assist with maintaining proper inventory levels.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including attending job-related meetings and training sessions.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in retail sales or customer service preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Working Conditions

Work will be performed primarily indoors, with occasional outdoor work to clean parking lots and fueling areas. Exposure to extreme cold temperatures may occur when working in the walk-in cooler and freezer.

Physical Functions
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead.
  • Ability to push and pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds.
  • Ability to bend at waist with some twisting.
  • Ability to grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands.
