Key Responsibilities
  • Assist faculty in developing effective course outcomes, content, activities, and assessment strategies in the context of performance-based instruction.
  • Collaborate with faculty, associate deans, and other curriculum team members to design and develop engaging, effective courses.
  • Provide expertise, consultation, training, and support in pedagogy and instruction.
  • Manage the course development process, ensuring projects are completed on time and within established requirements.
  • Provide guidance in support of college policies and state and federal regulations, including web accessibility, copyright, and regular & substantive interaction.
  • Research and make recommendations regarding emerging instructional strategies and maintain current knowledge of best practices in instructional design.
Requirements
  • Proficient in developing instruction within learning management systems (e.g., Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle, etc.).
  • Demonstrated knowledge and application of learning theories, instructional design, accessibility, and appropriate use of instructional technologies.
  • Knowledge of software applications, including Microsoft Office 365 (Office Suite, Teams, SharePoint, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate clearly and effectively with end users, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to take initiative, work independently with little supervision, and make sound decisions with minimal direction.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary range of $61,205 - $76,506.
  • A starting date of September 2024.
  • Limited work-from-home flexibility upon approval.
  • A 37.5-hour workweek with flexibility to work any day of the week within normal business hours.
