Ahern, a leading mechanical and fire protection contractor, is seeking an Assistant Design Manager to join their team in Fond du Lac. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your fire sprinkler design expertise and attention to detail.

As the Assistant Fire Protection Design Manager, you will split your time between quality control of design team outputs and design team assistance. You will ensure fabrication documents are fitter-friendly, code and project compliant, and align with Ahern's standards.

You will provide technical assistance to promote efficiency and consistency, while also being responsible for your own design work. You will collaborate closely with the Design Manager and organization leaders to ensure optimal delivery of design.

To qualify for this role, you will need a minimum of three years of relevant experience working with fire sprinkler design. A post-secondary degree or completed apprenticeship is preferred.
