Job Summary

Kaweah Health is a community-driven healthcare organization seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team on a per diem basis. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our respiratory therapy department.

Responsibilities
  • Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients of all ages, including routine and complex procedures, as prescribed by physicians.
  • Set up and operate acute care ventilators for continuous short and long-term mechanical ventilation.
  • Maintain accurate records and enter information into the hospital computer system.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and department efficiency.
Requirements
  • Current CA Respiratory Care Practitioner license
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from The National Board for Respiratory Care
  • BLS certification
