Diagnostic Sonographer Opportunity at University of Maryland Medical System

Located in Bowie, our Freestanding Medical Facility (FMF) provides ambulatory and full-service Emergency care 24/7, to help improve the health status of our neighboring community residents. We're seeking a skilled Diagnostic Sonographer to join our extraordinary Imaging Team at Bowie Medical Center.

Job Summary:

Under general supervision, performs routine and specialized sonographic procedures. Key responsibilities include executing basic clinical competence in Sonography across all patient types, applying knowledge of Sonography principles and practices, documenting accurate patient care activity, ensuring a safe and appropriate work environment, and actively participating in departmental and organizational performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an approved and accredited Ultrasound Educational Program
  • RDMS Certification
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification
  • 1+ years of experience
