Job Description

The Data Management Specialist plays a critical role in supporting Workday and SAP processes, ensuring the accuracy and quality of employee record management, reporting, and data governance. This position requires collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to drive process improvements and ensure compliance with global operating models.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and support key HR processes in Workday/SAP system, including employee lifecycle processes, HR reporting, process accuracy, data quality, and documentation management.
  • Handle HR documentation and administer data quality reports, taking corrective action as needed.
  • Actively seek opportunities for continuous improvement and implement process improvements and automation initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with defined HR processes and relevant AbbVie policies.
  • Collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to improve service quality and efficiency.
  • Deliver system and process training to new joiners and respond to internal stakeholders regarding questions or issues related to Workday processing and HR reporting.
Requirements
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in HR or a related environment.
  • Bachelor's degree required, with a strong preference for a concentration in HR.
  • Spanish language fluency required, with strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Solid knowledge and expertise of HR systems, including Workday and/or SAP.
  • Technical expertise in HR processes and understanding process dependencies.
  • Customer orientation and ability to adapt to changing environments quickly.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple requests and maintain a continuous improvement mindset.
Additional Information

This role follows a hybrid schedule, requiring 3 days onsite per week. The compensation range for this position is competitive and based on the job grade. AbbVie offers a comprehensive package of benefits, including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k) eligibility. This job is eligible to participate in our short-term incentive programs.
