Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Hydrovac Operator to join our team at Wolverine Daylighting in Phoenix, Arizona. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating hydro excavation equipment and performing various tasks related to trenching, digging, and line cleaning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate hydrovac trucks and equipment in a safe and professional manner
  • Perform debris removal, slot trenching, daylighting, digging, line cleaning, and camera inspections
  • Set up, inspect, and maintain equipment for hydrovac operations
  • Ensure all hydrovac truck equipment and components are in good working condition at all times
  • Complete all required paperwork properly on a daily basis
  • Perform pre and post-trip inspections and general housekeeping, reporting any inefficiencies to the supervisor
  • Maintain and use appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
  • Follow all policies and procedures set out by Wolverine Daylighting
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or crew leader
Requirements
  • Experience operating a manual transmission with direct experience on 18-speed vehicles
  • Previous experience in the industry is considered an asset
  • Certification in fall protection, first aid, construction safety training, ground disturbance, confined spaces, and H2S is considered an asset

Work Environment

Work will be performed in person, with a 10-hour shift, Monday to Friday, with overtime and weekends as needed.
