Hydrovac Operator

This role involves operating hydro excavation equipment to safely and efficiently excavate sites for various projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with manual transmissions and 18-speed vehicles, as well as certifications in fall protection, first aid, and construction safety training.

• Operate hydrovac trucks and equipment in a safe and professional manner
• Perform debris removal, slot trenching, daylighting, digging, line cleaning, and camera inspections
• Set up, inspect, and maintain equipment for hydrovac operations
• Ensure all equipment is in good working condition and complete daily paperwork
• Follow company policies and procedures, and perform other duties as assigned

• Experience operating a manual transmission with direct experience on 18-speed vehicles
• Previous experience in the industry considered an asset
• Certification in fall protection, first aid, construction safety training, ground disturbance, confined spaces, and H2S considered an asset

Wolverine Daylighting offers a competitive hourly rate of $18.00-$24.00 per hour, depending on experience. The work schedule is 10-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with overtime and weekends as needed. The work location is in person.
