We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Nurse B to join our team at the University of Pennsylvania. As a Clinical Research Nurse B, you will play a critical role in the conduct of clinical investigations, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and research integrity.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide nursing services and interact directly with study participants, obtaining information required by study protocol and promoting continued engagement and participation.
- Coordinate care and services, answer questions, and offer advice, guidance, and supportive care to patients.
- Draw, prepare, store, and ship specimens as required by protocol schedule.
- Maintain participant records in a clear and organized manner, entering data via MIDAS secured data-entry system.
- Collaborate with study coordination sites and reading centers.
- Work with the University of Pennsylvania Institutional Review Board and Reciprocity Agreement Institutional Review Board to coordinate required submissions and renewals in accordance with FDA & IRB guidelines.
- Assure compliance with the protocol and regulatory requirements, including collecting, recording, and maintaining data and source documentation.
- Registered Nurse licensure in the Commonwealth of PA without restriction or limitation.
- One year of experience in clinical research or a related field.
- BSN preferred.
