Clinical Research Coordinator A/B Job Description

The University of Pennsylvania is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Coordinator A/B to join our team in the Department of Neurology.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute clinical research studies within the Department of Neurology's Division of Multiple Sclerosis and Related Disorders.
  • Coordinate the conduct of clinical research studies, including recruitment and retention of clinical trial participants.
  • Process and ship research samples.
  • Maintain study files, complete data entry, and correspond with study sponsors and monitors.
  • Attend study monitoring visits, research team meetings, and prepare and submit regulatory documents to the IRB.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science degree and 1-2 years of experience in clinical research or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Strong PC skills using a range of software programs, including Microsoft Office and Adobe.
  • Ability to work outside of normal workweek hours due to varying study protocol designs and stringent project deadlines.
