About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our Edge Computing team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and integrating systems that streamline operational processes.

Our team is focused on delivering software-defined networking infrastructure to manage connectivity to customer sites around the world. We own the health, scalability, and stability of secured networking connectivity to customer's Outposts.

You will work with subject matter experts in enterprise compute hardware, operating systems, networking, and customer-facing APIs to deliver the best customer experience in edge cloud computing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with experienced cross-disciplinary Amazonians to conceive, design, and bring innovative systems solutions to the market.
  • Design and build innovative technologies in a large distributed computing environment and help lead fundamental changes in the industry.
  • Design and code the right solutions starting with broadly defined problems.
  • Integrate industry-standard AWS systems to scale operations in a fast-growing organization.
  • Work in an agile and evolving environment to consistently deliver high-quality solutions.
