Senior Software Development Engineer, AWS Edge Connectivity

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer to join our AWS Edge Connectivity team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing customer-facing distributed applications using GoLang.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build automation to address operational needs and customer onboarding
- Participate in stakeholder and customer requirements gathering
- Participate in oncall rotation
About the Team
You will be part of the AWS Utility Computing (UC) organization, which provides product innovations and supports the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS.

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Bachelor's degree, or CSSLP (Certified Secure Software Lifecycle Professional)
Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret or above
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
Experience with network Layer2/3 encryption(HAIPE/Ethernet Data Encryption(EDE))
