Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement personalized fitness programs for clients, focusing on safe and effective exercise techniques.
- Provide guidance and support to clients during training sessions, ensuring they are using equipment correctly and safely.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest fitness trends and industry developments, applying this knowledge to enhance client programs and services.
- Conduct fitness consultations with new clients, assessing their needs and creating tailored plans to help them achieve their goals.
- Offer fitness floor assistance to members, providing education and motivation to help them reach their fitness objectives.
- Meet member service requirements, including fitness assessments, equipment operations, and administrative tasks.
- Promote and sell personal training programs and services, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records of client programming.
- Stay current with certifications and continuing education requirements to advance in the role.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of personal training experience.
- Certification as a Personal Trainer.
- CPR and AED certification.
- Knowledge of fitness, cardiovascular training, nutrition, and program design.
- Ability to perform aerobic activities for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, or a related field.
Compensation
For the first 8 full weeks of employment, this position will pay an hourly wage of $16.00 and will be eligible for unit pay equivalent to $30 minus the applicable minimum wage for services. After 8 full weeks of employment, this position will be paid on a commission basis tied to performance goals.
