Our medical imaging and guidance system employs advanced real-time 3D graphic capabilities and proprietary software sold to surgeons and hospitals worldwide.

Job Summary
The Electro-Optical-Mechanical (EOM) Assembler will be primarily responsible for assembling, aligning, and testing EOM devices for medical 3D applications, including 3D cameras and 3D beam splitters. This role will also involve assembling complete systems into self-contained roll-around carts, pulling parts kits from inventory, packaging and preparing outgoing shipments, and unpacking and logging incoming shipments.

Key Responsibilities
• Assemble EOM systems, including precision mechanical assembly, electronics assembly, cable assembly, soldering, and other manufacturing processes.
• Adhere to good manufacturing practices, wear appropriate clothing, and maintain neat and orderly work areas.
• Follow ESD policy and perform work in accordance with released product specifications, such as Assembly Instructions (AIs) and QA Travelers.
• Accurately and timely record product information on AIs and QA Travelers and notify QA personnel when products do not meet specifications or require deviations from written instructions.
• Document and issue Non-Conforming Material reports for material that does not meet product specifications and notify QA personnel.
• Recommend continual product improvement to Engineering and QA personnel.
• Handle, store, and assemble products without compromising cosmetic finishes.

Requirements
To perform this job successfully, the individual must have:
• 5-7 years of experience in electro-mechanical manufacturing in a high-technology environment.
• Associate's degree in electronics or technology or equivalent experience.
• Familiarity with optical assembly, stereoscopic 3D imaging products, ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 Quality Management System manufacturing environments, and medical device manufacturers.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures or governmental regulations, write reports and procedure manuals, and effectively present information to groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts, apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry, and solve practical problems in situations with limited standardization.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook.

Work Environment
The work environment is a high-technology manufacturing facility with moderate noise levels. The employee will be required to work near moving mechanical parts and may be exposed to dust, fumes, and other hazardous materials.
