Group Fitness Instructor

Fitness Factory Gym - Edgewater is seeking a highly motivated and energetic Group Fitness Instructor to lead our Small Group Training classes.
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for fitness and be able to create a motivating and engaging workout environment for our members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teach scheduled Small Group Training classes, beginning and ending on time.
- Provide adequate warm-up, exercises, stretching, and cool down.
- Instruct members on effective workout methods, explain proper techniques, demonstrate exercises, and identify different muscle groups.
- Prepare appropriate equipment, music, and handouts for each class.
- Assist members, answer questions, and maintain a positive exercise experience for members and class participants.
- Keep management informed of customer and facility needs.
- Ensure that safety standards are met and that department and facility policies are adhered to.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must possess current Red Cross CPR certification.
- Certified Instructor (ACE, AFAA) or equivalent.
- Additional specialty/certifications preferred.
