Job Summary:

Gulfstream Aerospace is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Summer Safety Management & Operational Excellence Intern to join our team in Savannah. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work on various projects related to safety management and operational excellence, gaining valuable experience and skills in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of safety management systems and procedures
  • Conduct risk assessments and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Analyze data and trends to inform safety management decisions
  • Develop and maintain documentation and reports related to safety management

Requirements:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Aviation, Accident Investigation, Aviation Safety, Engineering, Systems Engineering, Data Analytics/Business Analytics, or a related field
  • Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA at the time of application
  • Ability to convey technical concepts in written and verbal formats
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Display maturity and a high level of professionalism
  • Proven leadership skills on-campus or in a previous work atmosphere
  • Previous internship experience a plus
