YOUR CONTRIBUTION:

Position Overview:


The Marketing Communications Specialist is accountable for promoting service lines, managing media relations, fostering community connections, coordinating colleague and physician interactions, organizing special events, overseeing brand management, and developing publications and digital content.

Exhibits a strong understanding of diversity and embodies the values of integrity, compassion, accountability, respect, and excellence (I CARE values).

Plays a key role in maintaining a safe environment for all colleagues, visitors, and patients.


Engages in initiatives aimed at generating positive media coverage to enhance fundraising efforts for the Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare Foundation (TMHF) and its support of TMH's patients and clinical needs.

Produces original content suitable for various platforms that align with organizational and departmental goals.


Works collaboratively with TMHF colleagues, direct supervisor, and other departments to identify communication needs for fundraising and develop strategies to educate potential donors and inspire support.


Oversees the planning and execution of a range of internal and external events to achieve TMHF's fundraising objectives.


Ensures the proper use of TMHF's and TMH's branding and corporate identity across different media to maintain a consistent image of quality and adherence to branding guidelines.

Utilizes exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills to cultivate effective working relationships and deliver high-quality outputs.

Promotes TMHF's initiatives, events, and brand through digital and social media channels.

Collaborates effectively with TMHF colleagues and the TMH Marketing and Communications team.

Performs additional duties as required.

Reports to TMHF/Director

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
None

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, public relations, English, marketing, or a related discipline.

Experience:
Minimum of two (2) years of relevant professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications:
Five (5) years of directly related professional experience.

Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.

Strong interpersonal communication abilities.

Capability to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Creative, organized, and adaptable professional.
