Position Overview:

Maxor National Pharmacy Services is in search of a dedicated and skilled certified pharmacy technician to join our esteemed Meds-To-Beds initiative within the outpatient pharmacy sector.

Role Summary:
Under general supervision, you will be responsible for accurately filling medication orders as prescribed by healthcare providers. Your role will encompass various pharmacy-related tasks, including quality assurance activities. The work schedule is flexible and may require shifts that include weekends, holidays, and on-call duties.

Key Responsibilities:
The following are essential functions of this role:

  1. Support pharmacists in delivering safe and effective pharmacy services.
  2. Accurately input patient information into the system.
  3. Monitor prescription orders to ensure timely and correct delivery.
  4. Provide excellent customer service over the phone.
  5. Handle cashier duties and collect copays as per established guidelines.
  6. Prepare and deliver medications promptly under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized pharmacy environment.
  8. Assist in inventory management and stock replenishment.
  9. Participate in training and orientation programs for pharmacy staff.
  10. Uphold accurate patient records and assist with insurance billing issues.

Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Certification and registration as required by state regulations are mandatory upon employment.

Experience: A minimum of one year of relevant experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred.
