Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team as a part-time Logistician to support the Combat Aircraft Loading Area (CALA) Data Collector. This role will involve working with a talented team to expand your experience in Data Collection in the Defense Sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collect and record weapon component and aircraft specific data, supporting pre-flight and post-flight data collection via data sheets and electronic databases.
  • Observe and record weapon performance data on a live-fire training range from a safe location.
  • Travel to designated ranges, utilizing private vehicles or military transport as required, and be familiar with UHF radios/scanners and aircrew radio calls.
  • Attend planning, safety, and scheduling meetings with military clients.

Travel Requirements: Possible deployments to MCAS Yuma, AZ, and other sites, with potential for short-term deployments to NAS El Centro, CA, MCAS Miramar, CA, and other locations.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma plus 8-year experience in aviation ordnance or similar experience in close air support (CAS) or equivalent field experience.
  • Ability to attain a SECRET clearance and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word programs.
  • Physical ability to work on an aircraft flight line with standing, bending, kneeling, and walking for extended periods.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and legible penmanship.
  • Knowledge of weapon and armament equipment, including authorized weapon load/configurations for Navy Strike Fighter aircraft.
