Job Summary

As a key member of the Kaiser Permanente team, the Audiologist will provide comprehensive hearing diagnostic evaluation, treatment, education, and referral services to patients and their families. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background in audiology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive hearing diagnostic evaluations, including pure tone air/bone thresholds, speech reception threshold, word recognition, middle ear analysis, and site of lesion determination.
  • Provide counseling to patients and families regarding evaluation results, recommended follow-up, and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure best practices and positive care outcomes.
  • Participate in departmental training and continuing education programs to maintain clinical competency.
Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum one year of clinical experience (concurrent with Doctorate training).
  • Clinical Doctorate in Audiology (Au.D.).
  • Audiologist License (Washington) required at hire.
Additional Requirements
  • Verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, co-workers, and other healthcare professionals.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Four years of experience in diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology.
  • Expert-level competence in required areas with specialty skills that may include advanced vestibular evaluation, Bone Anchored Hearing Aids, Cochlear Implants, and tinnitus treatment.
