Medical Education Director

The MDT Institute is seeking an experienced Medical Assisting Program Chair to lead our hybrid program. As a key member of our academic team, you will be responsible for the overall management and development of the program.

Salary:
$60,000 - $80,000 per year based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Program Management: Oversee all aspects of the program, including organization, administration, periodic review, planning, development, evaluation, and general effectiveness.
- Teaching: Teach courses as appropriate in accordance with faculty job description.
- Professional Development: Participate in professional development activities, such as seminars, industry conferences, profession-related meetings, and workshops.
Requirements:
- Education: Graduation from an accredited program recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in Medical Assisting.
- Experience: A minimum of three years of full-time experience in a healthcare facility with a minimum of one year of direct patient care in an ambulatory healthcare setting.
- Certification: A current medical assistant registration or certification through a nationally recognized and accredited certifying agency.
