As a key member of our team, you will provide top-notch care to our patients, working closely with our veterinarians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Responsibilities- Provide medical care to patients arriving at the emergency room, utilizing sound technical skills and prioritizing care based on critical nature and severity of patient's condition.
- Support the treatment floor and emergency service by performing a variety of nursing tasks as assigned.
- Assist physicians with examinations, emergency procedures, and treatments.
- Perform venipuncture, lab procedures, and other diagnostics.
- Communicate effectively with clients, team members, and other healthcare professionals.
- Work in a fast-paced environment, maintaining a calm demeanor and attention to detail.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in veterinary medicine as a Nurse.
- Current CVT/LVT/RVT preferred or educational equivalent.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including midnights and weekends.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
