About the Position

We are seeking a dedicated Caregiver and Mentor to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities at The Arc Eastern Connecticut.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver individualized support services, including training, support, and assistance in daily living skills.
  • Collaborate with participants, families, and providers to develop and implement personalized support plans.
  • Ensure participants' health and safety by administering prescribed medications and completing required documentation.

Requirements

  • Prior experience working with individuals with developmental and physical disabilities is preferred.
  • Must have the ability to mentor and assist people in all areas of life skills.
  • Valid driver's license and high school diploma or GED are required.
  • Basic computer aptitude and English language proficiency are essential.

  • A competitive starting hourly rate of $18.30 per hour.

Work Location and Schedule

Norwich, CT, with a schedule of Saturday and Sunday from 10am-6pm and Monday and Tuesday from 1:30pm-7pm.
