The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with people who have developmental and physical disabilities, possess excellent communication skills, and be able to work with limited supervision. A valid driver's license is also required.
Job DescriptionIn this rewarding role, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering training, support, and assistance to participants in areas such as personal care, recreation, and daily living skills.
- Participating in the design, implementation, and monitoring of individualized support plans.
- Accurately administering prescribed medications and completing required documentation.
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Have prior experience working with people who have developmental and physical disabilities.
- Be able to mentor and assist individuals in all areas of life skills.
- Hold a valid driver's license.
- Possess basic computer aptitude and be able to speak/write in English.
We offer a competitive starting hourly rate of $18.30 per hour, paid time off, paid sick leave, and opportunities for advancement. Additionally, we provide medical, dental, and life insurance, an employee assistance program, and 11 recognized holidays off per year.
