Facility Overview:

The Rialto facility is recognized as North America's largest organics waste diversion site. It efficiently converts organic waste into renewable electricity, natural gas, and fertilizer, diverting materials from landfills. Utilizing advanced technologies such as anaerobic digestion and biogas conditioning, the facility contributes to environmental sustainability by reducing greenhouse gas emissions substantially.

Role Summary:

The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor will report directly to the Facility Manager and will oversee various operational aspects, including safety, environmental compliance, financial management, human resources, and project oversight. This role involves leading and mentoring a dedicated team of maintenance and support staff, ensuring adherence to exemplary safety and environmental standards while fostering a culture of operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and enhance safety and environmental protocols across the facility.
  • Support the Facility Manager in achieving financial and operational objectives.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
  • Lead a team focused on continuous improvement and adherence to best practices.
  • Facilitate training and development initiatives for staff to enhance skills and productivity.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

Experience: A minimum of five years in maintenance management within similar operational environments, including waste management and energy production.
