About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to join Trexquant Investment as a Global Alpha Trader, where you will have the chance to turn your quantitative ideas into profitable strategies without the added burdens of creating a team and infrastructure from scratch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement systematic strategies across various asset classes, including global equities, futures, FX, commodities, corporate bonds, and options.
  • Apply machine learning and statistical techniques to trading to optimize portfolio performance.
  • Simulate and execute strategies on the Trexquant Alpha Platform to generate profits in line with expected performance.
  • Collaborate with experienced portfolio managers and traders to refine and improve strategies.
Requirements
  • A higher education degree in Math, Engineering, Statistical Modeling, Computer Science, or other related fields.
  • At least one year of proven track record in operating systematic strategies in any asset class.
  • Strong quantitative skills and proficiency in numerical tools such as NumPy and Pandas on Python.
  • Flexibility to work remotely and access to proprietary technology platforms.
About the Program

The Global Alpha Trader (GAT) program aims to attract traders who possess profitable strategies and wish to operate them on a well-established platform without the need to build everything from the ground up.
