About the Role:
This is a fantastic opportunity for a physician to join our team as a psychiatric specialist in Fort Kent, Maine. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support.

Location: The role will be based in Fort Kent, a picturesque town in northern Maine, offering a unique blend of outdoor activities and cultural experiences.

Duration: This is a temporary assignment with the option to extend. We are looking for a candidate who can commit to working for at least 3-6 months, with the possibility of longer-term employment.

Scope of Work: You will be working in a 49-bed hospital that serves as a level III trauma center. Your primary responsibilities will include rounding in the morning and clinic work after rounds. You will also have limited psychotherapy sessions focused on medication management.

Requirements:
- Must be board certified (BC) or truly board eligible with a valid license to practice medicine in Maine or the International Medical License (IMLC).
- Willingness to obtain licensure in Maine.

Estimated Salary: Based on national averages and taking into account the location and scope of work, we estimate the salary for this role to be around $250,000 - $300,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
