Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor to lead our ED2 Recovery program. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the program, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, and providing supervision to staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Embody and model recovery principles in all interactions with staff and individuals being served.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with contract requirements, including supervision, documentation, and reporting.
  • Supervise and support staff, including hiring, training, and evaluating their performance.
  • Collaborate with funding sources, hospital staff, and community-based organizations to ensure quality services are provided.
  • Provide 1:1 supervision to Peer Specialists and facilitate monthly SPAC meetings.
  • Process new referrals, complete case assignments, and maintain accurate records.
  • Attend clinical staff meetings, communicate with Clinician/Director, and monitor high-risk individuals.
  • Present on peer support and recovery topics to contract partners and community-based organizations.
  • Complete annual staff evaluations, ensure timely paperwork completion, and monitor staff service hours.
  • Act as a liaison between program staff and provider networks, fulfill contract terms, and respond to program service provision issues.
  • Attend provider meetings, trainings, and other required events.
Requirements
  • Must be a Certified Peer Specialist with a minimum of two years of experience as a Peer Specialist.
  • One year of leadership experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of agency policies and procedures, substance, mental health, and co-occurring knowledge and skills.
  • Ability to serve people during crisis situations, strong supervision skills, and effective use of time and resources.
  • Must have knowledge of the Peer Specialist Code of Conduct.
Working Conditions

The position requires a flexible work schedule, including some evenings and weekends, and involves driving in the community and visiting individuals in their homes and hospitals.
