We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an assistant superintendent for Local Residential Builder. In this role, you will work closely with the Superintendent to ensure the successful completion of residential construction projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Superintendent in the construction process, including material handling, ordering and returning construction materials.
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and adherence to project schedules.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure workmanship and materials meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
  • Identify and address construction-related challenges, proposing solutions to ensure the successful completion of the project.
  • Communicate with homeowners, addressing their concerns and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the construction process.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and permits.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and promote a safe working environment for all workers on-site.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential construction preferred, including knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and building codes.
  • To effectively coordinate and assist in supervising subcontractors and on-site personnel.
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure quality control and adherence to project specifications.
  • Effective organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
  • Dedication to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring homeowner satisfaction throughout the construction process.
  • Strong commitment to safety and knowledge of safety regulations in the construction industry.
  • Ability to handle and move lumber, use hand tools, and perform labor tasks as requested.
  • Comfortable with technology; will be expected to learn BuilderTrend software and use daily.

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
