As an Assistant Construction Manager at Local Residential Builder, you will play a vital role in the execution of residential construction projects. We are seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to fill this position, who can work closely with the Superintendent to ensure project success.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of the construction process, including material handling, ordering, and returning construction materials.
  • Coordination with subcontractors and suppliers to guarantee timely delivery of materials and adherence to project schedules.
  • Regular site inspections to verify workmanship and materials meet the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship.
  • Proactive identification and resolution of construction-related challenges, ensuring project success.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with homeowners, addressing their concerns and ensuring their satisfaction throughout the construction process.
  • Maintenance of accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including progress reports, change orders, and permits.
  • Compliance with all relevant safety regulations and promotion of a safe working environment for all on-site personnel.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in residential construction, preferably with knowledge of construction techniques, materials, and building codes.
  • Effective communication skills, enabling coordination and supervision of subcontractors and on-site personnel.
  • Attention to detail, ensuring quality control and adherence to project specifications.
  • Organizational and time management skills, prioritizing tasks and meeting project deadlines.
  • Dedication to delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring homeowner satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations in the construction industry.
  • Ability to handle and move lumber, use hand tools, and perform labor tasks as required.
  • Proficiency in using BuilderTrend software.

The estimated annual salary for this role is $70,000 - $90,000, based on experience.
