We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team at Neuhaus Foot and Ankle. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our healthcare professionals in a fast-paced medical office environment.
Key Responsibilities- Administrative Tasks:
- Greet and escort patients from the waiting area to treatment rooms
- Accompany physicians in treatment rooms to document patient history, physical examination findings, and procedures
- Verify patient benefits and prepare lab work for submission
- Perform various administrative tasks to support physicians and other team members
- Non-Clinical Tasks:
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Follow up with patients to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- 1+ year of full-time experience in a patient-facing role or 2+ years in a high-volume customer service role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Positive attitude, empathy, and a team-oriented mindset
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred
- 24 days of paid time off
