Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Therapist and Supervisor to join our team at Lincoln Park Therapy Group. As a Clinical Therapist and Supervisor, you will be responsible for providing individual therapy to adults, as well as teens or couples, and providing individual and dyadic supervision to provisionally-licensed therapists to grow and develop their clinical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual therapy to adults, as well as teens or couples, using evidence-based clinical interventions and diagnostic skills.
  • Provide individual and dyadic supervision to provisionally-licensed therapists to help them develop their clinical skills and grow into their talents.
  • Facilitate monthly peer consultation groups to support the growth and development of our clinical team.
  • Complete and review electronic notes, current treatment plans, and formulate DSM 5 diagnoses.
  • Schedule and re-schedule clients for ongoing psychotherapy sessions, and support the clinical team to manage client emergencies as they arise.
  • Consult with other providers, psychiatrists, and family members when appropriate, and continue to learn and grow to remain competent in serving the practice's demographic and your caseload's unique challenges.
  • Ensure the general tidiness of the office you are using and the common areas.

Requirements:

  • Current State of Illinois license as a LCSW (preferred), LCPC, or LMFT.
  • Previous supervisory experience, preferably in a private practice setting.
  • Caseloads will start part-time, with the growth into full-time quickly if full-time is desired.
  • Minimum 2-3 years experience counseling.
  • Prior private practice experience is a plus but not required.
  • The expectation is that you'd immediately be able to block out a minimum of 12-14 hours per week for at least two shifts at Lincoln Park Therapy Group.
  • Great writing and computer skills – we use G Suite, Google Docs, TherapyNotes, and VOIP voicemail app.
  • Organized, professional, conscientious, timely, and responsible.
