Key Responsibilities of the Clinical Specialty Supervisor:

  • Conducting individual clinical advisory sessions with therapists during their onboarding process at NOCD, adhering to a structured syllabus to impart knowledge in evidence-based treatment for various diagnostic categories, including:
  • Anxiety Disorders
  • Depressive Disorders
  • Hoarding
  • Body-Focused Repetitive Behaviors (BFRBs) and Tic Disorders
  • Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
  • Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD)
  • Facilitating a weekly consultation group focused on specific disorders
  • Engaging in ongoing training and collaboration with expert Specialty Treatment Consultants
  • Monitoring communication channels to address inquiries regarding specialty treatment as the primary contact
  • Participating in sessions to assist with complex specialty treatment cases
  • Providing constructive feedback to therapists in specialty training after clinical advisory meetings
  • Developing and refining the ongoing curriculum for the clinical advisory process
  • Participating in weekly team meetings dedicated to advising
  • Collaborating with therapists to ensure outstanding specialty treatment outcomes
  • Regularly meeting with the Director of Clinical Integrity to assess specialty treatment outcomes and the progress of therapists in training
  • Engaging in promotional activities for NOCD treatment on professional platforms

Qualifications for Application:

  • A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a therapist with NOCD
  • Proven exceptional clinical skills as demonstrated by metrics and surveys
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Flexibility in scheduling
  • Previous experience in clinical supervision and/or teaching is preferred but not mandatory

Expectations for clinical hours for the Clinical Specialty Supervisors will vary based on the training demand for each specialty clinical condition, with potential for additional hours allocated towards leadership responsibilities as needed. Independent Contractors are encouraged to apply, with the understanding that a transition to a Full-Time position may be required if selected for this role.
