The Integrated Pediatric Therapies (IPT) division collaborates as a cohesive unit with children from birth to adolescence who experience disabilities and developmental delays, aiming to foster independence and assist children in achieving their fullest potential. There may also be opportunities to engage with adults involved in various intellectual and developmental disability programs within JCFS Chicago. The IPT team is in search of a Clinical Speech Therapist to work directly with individuals and groups, as well as to provide consultation services.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conducts a comprehensive range of clinical responsibilities, including data collection and analysis, development of treatment strategies, and execution of interventions for both routine and complex cases.
- Evaluates each client utilizing provided information, standardized assessment tools, and/or clinical observation analysis.
- Develops an understanding of clients' requirements, including those of their families, and delivers suitable services with supervisory guidance.
- Maintains accurate records and performs other administrative tasks as mandated by the Agency.
- Engages in agency staff development initiatives and professional seminars or conferences to enhance professional expertise and share insights on personal work.
- Collaborates with other agency staff, supervisors, and relevant specialists or consultants on specific case-related challenges.
- Conducts evaluations and diagnoses for clients identified with speech and language challenges.
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech and Hearing Association; candidates in their Clinical Fellowship Year will be considered.
- Illinois state licensure in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Early Intervention Credential in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Access to a reliable vehicle for travel within the metropolitan area, as this role necessitates site visits to various locations.

- Compensation: The minimum annual salary for this position is $65,750.
