Position Overview:
The Sanitation Specialist is tasked with ensuring a pristine environment within the Service Center and administrative areas. This role necessitates a comprehensive understanding of cleaning agents and their appropriate applications.

Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday, 7am-5:30pm

Compensation: The base pay is $16.48 per hour, disbursed bi-weekly.

  • Incremental wage increases of $0.26 are available after completing 90 days, 6 months, 12 months, and 18 months of service, culminating in a potential total increase of $1.04/hr.

Attendance Incentive: A weekly Attendance Bonus of $40 is available, translating to an additional $1 per hour (subject to eligibility and policy guidelines).

Referral Incentive: Refer a colleague and both of you can earn $900, distributed in four installments (eligibility and policy rules apply).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sanitize lockers, walls, cafeteria surfaces, and seating.
  • Restock essential supplies including paper towels, toilet paper, and soap.
  • Maintain cleanliness of restroom sinks, toilets, and stalls.
  • Address spills promptly within the Service Center.
  • Utilize powered equipment for loading and unloading containers.
  • Manage inventory of cardboard materials.
  • Dust furniture and surfaces, and clean windows.
  • Vacuum carpeted areas thoroughly.
  • Collect and dispose of waste throughout the facility.
  • Adapt to shift rotations as required.
Qualifications:

The Sanitation Specialist must possess the physical capability to perform the duties associated with this role throughout the facility.

  • Ability to remain standing for the duration of the shift.
  • Capability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Frequent bending, walking, stretching, and reaching are essential.
