Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Incident Management Team Director to join our team at Applied Training Solutions, LLC. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing direction and purpose to the Incident Command Staff and integrating military forces in support of emergency response efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform roles and duties as a director in hazardous materials emergencies above the initial response and implement a National Incident Management System (NIMS)-based Incident Command System (ICS).
  • Provide direction and purpose to the Incident Command Staff and integrate military forces in support of the incident.
  • Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures to ensure effective and efficient response to hazardous materials incidents.
  • Collaborate with other emergency response agencies and stakeholders to ensure a unified and coordinated response to emergency situations.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards related to emergency response and hazardous materials handling.

Requirements:

  • Associate degree or higher in fire science, chemistry, engineering, business, or a related field of study.
  • 5 years of operational experience performing Incident Commander operations in metropolitan areas with a population of more than 50,000.
  • FEMA ICS 300 and ICS 400 courses.
