All projects are located within the Triangle area, and they are seeking an Estimator with relevant experience in these sectors. With over 40 years in the industry, they have a high employee retention rate and a strong portfolio of repeat clients.

Position Overview

The Estimator will play a crucial role in:
  • Reviewing construction plans and documentation to create timelines, cost estimates, and material and labor calculations.
  • Preparing bid documents, development budgets, and evaluating subcontractor proposals for conceptual and bid estimates.
  • Setting pricing structures and conducting comparative analysis.
  • Collaborating closely with the project management team to ensure estimates are accurate throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Engaging with vendors and internal teams to address and resolve issues.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with subcontractors.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:
  • A minimum of 5 years of estimating experience in commercial construction with a general contractor.
  • Proficiency in performing take-offs and organizing conceptual budget pricing.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Expertise in project and estimating software, including iSqFt, ProCore, Sage, and On-Screen Takeoff.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, QuickBid).
  • Experience in scheduling.
Compensation and Benefits

The Estimator will receive:
  • A competitive base salary based on experience, ranging from $90,000 to $130,000.
