Lead Our Culinary Team

The Food Service Director/Culinary Department Head oversees our culinary teams and prioritizes delivering exceptional culinary experiences. As the acting Dietary Manager, you will plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the dietary department in accordance with current state, federal, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations. This role ensures quality nutritional services are provided daily and maintains a clean, safe, and sanitary environment.

What You Will Achieve:
  • Develop and implement culinary programs and activities.
  • Coordinate culinary services with other departments.
  • Maintain department budgets and forecasts.
  • Supervise the Culinary Services Department.
  • Promote hospitality and excellent customer service.
  • Work with the dietitian to provide quality nutritional services.
  • Ensure adequate food supplies and order supplies cost-effectively.
  • Maintain equipment and order replacements as needed.
  • Develop and administer the department budget.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Dietary Manager Certification (CDM).
  • 3+ years of related experience in a food service department; experience in a long-term or healthcare facility preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional care.
  • Team player with a dedication to supporting colleagues and achieving goals.
