NexCare is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Director to oversee our culinary teams and provide exceptional dining experiences for our patients. Your primary goal will be to ensure that quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis, while maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment. You will work closely with our dietitian to provide personalized meal plans and ensure that our patients receive the best possible care. In addition to your culinary expertise, you will also be responsible for managing the department budget, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment. * Plan, develop, and implement culinary programs and services that meet the needs of our patients and their families.
* Manage the department budget and ensure that all expenses are properly accounted for.
* Order supplies and maintain equipment to ensure that the dietary department is well-stocked and running smoothly.
* Work closely with the dietitian to provide personalized meal plans and ensure that our patients receive the best possible care.
* Provide exceptional customer service to our patients and their families, and ensure that their needs are met in a timely and professional manner.

Requirements:

* High School Diploma or equivalent.
* Dietary Manager Certification (CDM).
* 3+ years of related experience in a food service department; experience in a long term or health care facility preferred.
* Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering exceptional care.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
