Medical Surgical Nurse Position

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Surgical Nurse to join our team at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. As a Medical Surgical Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to Medical Surgical patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
  • Perform various medical procedures, such as inserting IVs, administering medications, and performing wound care.
  • Document patient information, including medical history, medications, and treatment plans, in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current Oregon Registered Nurse License.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • At least one year of experience as a Medical Surgical Nurse.
