Job Title: RN - Medical Surgical Unit

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Medical Surgical Unit at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.

Job Summary:

This is a .9 FTE, night shift opening (7pm-7:30am, 3, 12 hour shifts per week) with every other weekend (Friday/Saturday) and at least one summer and winter holiday each year. You will work closely with our experienced nursing team to provide individualized care to patients with a variety of medical and surgical conditions.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to patients with medical and surgical conditions
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the healthcare team
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Oregon Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • 1 year Nursing experience
