About the Role

Pro Chem Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Account Executive to join our team in the Austin, TX territory. As a Sales Account Executive, you will be responsible for sourcing new opportunities, closing sales, and managing customer accounts to achieve monthly sales targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, identifying opportunities to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Prospect and qualify new leads, utilizing your knowledge of Pro Chem's products and services to effectively communicate value to potential customers.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies and customer service initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activity, and market conditions to inform sales strategies and drive business growth.
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales targets, while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and retention.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
  • Prior sales experience a plus, but not required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues at all levels.
  • Ability to learn and retain large amounts of product information, with a strong understanding of Pro Chem's offerings.
  • Basic to moderate working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze data and create reports.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess customer needs and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work independently, with a high level of autonomy and self-motivation.
  • Valid driver's license, with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to travel within assigned territory, with occasional travel to other territories for training and corporate meetings.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • Driving, getting into and out of an automobile while visiting customers.
  • Occasional lifting and lowering of products up to 25 lbs to show, introduce, or stock a customer's location.
  • Occasional exposure to industrial environments, with potential exposure to hot and cold conditions.
