Responsibilities
  • Welcome and prepare patients for their appointments, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
  • Verify patient information, review medical history, and confirm the purpose of the visit or treatment.
  • Assist healthcare providers during examinations, prepare laboratory specimens, and perform basic laboratory tests.
  • Educate patients on medication and instructions, answer questions, and complete records.
  • Manage inventory, maintain equipment, and perform preventive maintenance.
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and maintain a secure environment.
Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and independently.
  • Previous experience as a Medical Assistant is a plus.
  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program is required, with preference given to candidates holding certifications such as CMA or RMA.
  • Alternative qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Biology or Emergency Medical Technician certification, or five years of continuous experience working as a Medical Assistant.
