A Houseperson plays a vital role in maintaining the daily operations of housekeeping. Responsibilities include:

  • Responding to guest and staff requests for supplies.
  • Stocking supply closets.
  • Transporting linen to and from the laundry.
  • Hauling trash and recycling from villages to designated bins.
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of housekeeping golf carts.
  • Replacing light bulbs in guestrooms.

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • Good communication skills.
  • Organizational and attention-to-detail abilities.
  • The ability to follow directions and complete tasks efficiently.
  • English proficiency (written and verbal). Spanish language skills are beneficial but not required.

This position requires:

  • Physical stamina to lift, pull, and push moderate weights.
  • Continuous movement while performing duties.

Working conditions involve:

  • Working on your feet in well-lit, heated, and/or air-conditioned indoor environments with adequate ventilation, as well as outdoors exposed to changing weather conditions.
