Novul Solutions is seeking a proficient Cybersecurity Compliance Manager to oversee the security of critical operational applications and support systems. This pivotal position entails ensuring adherence to existing cybersecurity regulations and policies at both federal and national levels. The Cybersecurity Compliance Manager will be tasked with preparing and managing security documentation to fulfill regulatory obligations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and endorse various security strategies and documents, including Privacy Impact Assessments, Risk Assessment Plans, and System Security Plans.
  • Guarantee compliance with NIST SP 800-37, Rev 2, alongside other pertinent security policies.
  • Administer security documentation for assigned systems in accordance with DHS FISMA requirements.
  • Participate in the DHS Ongoing Authorization Program and manage system transitions and ongoing authorization activities.
  • Oversee security incidents and breaches at the system level.
  • Conduct technical evaluations of threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Supervise vulnerability scanning and the management of security patches.
  • Formulate cybersecurity Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), playbooks, and operational guidelines.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Cybersecurity Compliance Manager in federal information systems.
  • Proficiency in auditing security controls and financial processes.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and analytical abilities.
  • Understanding of Information Assurance, IT, and Information Management principles.
  • Familiarity with security policies and frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Professional certifications such as ISC2 CAP, CCSP, or CompTIA CASP+.
  • Previous experience in federal or national security positions.
