Manufacturing Production Supervisor

Job Description:

Solventum is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Production Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring efficiency, and driving continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct supervision to hourly production employees
  • Support other areas with production employees not under your direct supervision
  • Inspire integrity by upholding and complying with Solventum policies and guidelines
  • Provide leadership for assigned operations by fostering cross-functional teamwork and communicating goals of the organization to employees
  • Review production issues with the quality and engineering teams and use available resources to resolve process, maintenance, equipment, and related technical problems
  • Determine priorities daily, allocate work assignments, communicate expectations, and monitor workflow
  • Conduct department crew meetings to review team performance and celebrate successes
  • Evaluate employee performance and provide necessary coaching, feedback, and disciplinary actions
  • Lead and participate in Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement activities
  • Complete administrative activities such as time reporting, attendance control, and vacation planning
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree or higher AND three (3) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
  • OR
  • High School Diploma/GED from AND seven (7) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
  • Additional qualifications that could help you succeed in this role include:
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership experience
  • Experience with continuous improvement activities
  • Ability to collaborate with internal and external customers effectively
