Job Description:

Manufacturing Production Supervisor

At Solventum, we are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Production Supervisor to join our team.

About the Role:

The Manufacturing Production Supervisor will be responsible for leading a team of production employees to ensure the efficient and effective production of our products. This role will involve:

  • Providing direct supervision to hourly production employees
  • Supporting other areas with production employees not under their direct supervision
  • Inspiring integrity by upholding and complying with Solventum policies and guidelines
  • Providing leadership for assigned operations by fostering cross-functional teamwork and communicating goals of the organization to employees
  • Reviewing production issues with the quality and engineering teams and using available resources to resolve process, maintenance, equipment and related technical problems
  • Determining priorities daily, allocating work assignments, communicating expectations, and monitoring workflow
  • Conducting department crew meetings to review team performance and celebrate successes
  • Evaluating employee performance and providing necessary coaching, feedback and disciplinary actions
  • Leading and participating in Lean Six Sigma continuous improvement activities
  • Completing administrative activities such as time reporting, attendance control and vacation planning

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher AND three (3) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment

OR

  • High School Diploma/GED from AND seven (7) years of manufacturing experience in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional Qualifications:

Experience with continuous improvement activities, excellent written and oral communication skills, demonstrated leadership experience, and ability to collaborate with internal and external customers effectively are highly desirable.

Work Location:

Onsite: Irvine, CA

Travel: May include up to 5% domestic/international

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized

Must be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status)
